Jordan Chen
Founder and Executive Director
Jordan Chen is a sophomore in high school. He is the founder and executive director of Global Ascent. Jordan is deeply passionate about global issues, with a particular focus on combating climate change and raising awareness about its urgent impact on communities around the world. He is also the co-founder and co-executive director of Restoring Rainbows, a nonprofit dedicated to reducing waste and spreading art education, which has grown to over 150 branches across more than 40 countries in less than a year.
In addition to his nonprofit endeavors, Jordan is an avid artist who loves to paint, and he enjoys staying active by skiing and playing tennis. At school, he is the co-president and co-founder of Color Run 4 Diabetes, an annual charity event that raises funds for the American Diabetes Association. Jordan is also a student researcher at Yale University, where he is exploring protein modeling in the biophysics department.
