Sophia Li

Sophia Li is a sophomore in high school. She’s passionate about breaking language barriers to ensure global issues are known by all. Through her involvement at Global Ascent, she’s excited to make scientific and global knowledge more inclusive and widely available. She hopes to bridge gaps in communication, allowing diverse communities to engage with important scientific and social topics regardless of language difference.

Outside of Global Ascent, Sophia enjoys running her card writing club, Sending Sunshine, playing in orchestra for the school or outside, and writing for the school newspaper. At home, you might catch her baking brownies, reading, or oil painting.
